PMGC Winners and MVPs: The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) is the top of the line for PUBG Mobile esports. It’s the tournament every pro player wants to win, but only a few ever do. Starting in 2020, the PMGC has become a really respected esports event worldwide. It gathers the best teams, star players, and some seriously intense competition.
Krafton and Tencent Games put on the championship, and it’s famous for big prize money, intense competition, and awesome moments that have made mobile esports what it is today.
With PMGC 2025 underway, fans everywhere are super excited. Here’s a look back at all the PMGC Winners and MVPs from 2020 to 2024, including the MVPs who put on amazing performances and made their mark on PUBG Mobile forever.

PMGC 2020 – Nova Esports Claim the First Crown
In 2020, Dubai played host to the first PMGC event, and set a benchmark for intense competition and exceptional talent. Nova Esports was home to several of the best PMGC players in the world, including Paraboy, Order, King, Coolboy, & Jimmy, who had stumbled through the league stage and finished ranked 8th with 366 total points, however, once the Grand Finals started, the team showed the full extent of their abilities.
In the end, following all matches of intense competition, Nova Esports mounted an incredible comeback by earning a total of 319 points and winning the first-ever PMGC Championship. The team finishing in second place on the podium was 4 Angry Men (4AM), who finished with 294 points, and taking third place was ZEUS Esports with 292 total points.
The 2020 PMGC was dominated by one individual, Suk, from 4 Angry Men (4AM). Suk was the leader in kills for both League Stage and Grand Finals, finishing the League Phase with 144 kills and Grand Finals with 54 kills, and earning the first-ever overall Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award.

PMGC 2021 – Nova Esports Create History with Back-to-Back Titles
The 2021 PMGC edition was an online event caused by the worldwide pandemic. Fighting through the hard times, competition was really intense with 41 teams from different parts of the globe. It also made history as it was the first time an Indian team Godlike Esports, participated at PMGC.
In the Grand Finals, Nova Esports proved once again that they are one of the greatest esports dynasties of all time by being the very first team to win consecutively two PMGC titles. Their super line up Paraboy, Order, Jimmy, King, Mix6GG, and QC was beyond any other rival, they scored 222 points in 18 matches.
Natus Vincere (NaVi) ended up second with 175 points, and Nigma Galaxy took the third position with 166. Godlike Esports was 13th in their first time PMGC appearance.
Order, who is considered Nova’s lucky charm, was the one who got the MVP award with 46 kills, the most instrumental player in the team’s second back to back world championship.

PMGC 2022 – S2G Esports Break China’s Winning Streak
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 in Malaysia was a game-changer for the competitive scene. Fifty of the best teams on the planet participate this year. S2G Esports from Turkey crushed the competition like never before. They stopped China from winning for the third year in a row.
S2G, with star players like Sylas, HamsiG, Calse, and RayZ, made it through the Red Group and then dominated the Grand Finals. They ended up with 190 points, way ahead of DRS Gaming from Nepal, who got 158 points for second place. GodLike Stalwart took third.
Top from Stalwart was named MVP. He had 31 kills and did over 10,000 damage, which is just amazing. It’s easy to see why he’s one of the most respected players around.

PMGC 2023 – Mongolia Dominates the World Stage
The year 2023 for Mongolia will be remembered as a landmark year due to the PMGC event. In a historic showing, three teams from Mongolia, IHC Esports, Stalwart Esports, and Alpha7 from Brazil, made it to the finals of the tournament’s top four spots. IHC Esports took home the trophy as World Champions while Stalwart Esports took second place.
IHC competes with Godless, Alex, Zyol and DEMO, who came back exceptional after a difficult league stage, advancing from the Survival Stage and the Last Chance Qualifiers. In the Grand Finals, IHC edged Stalwart Esports by a two-point margin of 142-140.
The MVP for the tournament, Zyol, led the way for IHC with 37 eliminations, making him the first player from Mongolia to be named MVP for the PMGC Championship.

PMGC 2024 – Dplus KIA Make History for South Korea
PMGC 2024, which took place in London, saw a new region being crowned as the best in the world. South Korean Dplus KIA amazed the crowd with their performance and they became the first team from Korea to win the PMGC title. Their line up that consisted of Osal, chpz, Nolbu, and captain FAVIAN was one of the most stable teams worldwide and 2024 was the year when they made it to the very top.
The Grand Finals were a nail biter till the end as Dplus KIA secured the victory and the championship by a single point only, 153 points were their final score against Regnum Carya’s 152 points. Third place went to Nigma Galaxy.
Nolbu, the tournament’s brightest star, single handedly secured 34 eliminations and dealt more than 8,000 damage to the opponents, thus, he was given the highly valuable MVP award and became one of the legends of the PMGC.
