The second season of the Super League Kerala has officially kicked off, organised by the Kerala Football Association. The second match was a grand success, with Indian cricket team player Sanju Samson attending as a supporter of Malappuram FC.

After the opening week, Kannur Warriors FC, Calicut FC, and Malappuram FC lead the table with three points each, all registering narrow but impressive victories. Meanwhile, Kombans FC, Forca Kochi FC, and Thrissur Magic FC will aim to bounce back in the upcoming fixtures.
The opening match of the Super League Kerala 2025 delivered a thrilling start to the season as Calicut FC edged past Kochi FC with a 2–1 victory at the EMS Stadium, Kozhikode, on October 2. Despite Kochi FC dominating possession with 60% and creating more chances, Calicut made the most of their few opportunities, striking twice from just two shots on target. The intense encounter featured plenty of action, 23 fouls, and three yellow cards, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead in Kerala football.
In the second game, Malappuram FC secured a hard-fought 1–0 win over Thrissur FC on October 3 at the Payyanad Stadium, Malappuram, marking their first victory of the Super League Kerala 2025 season. Despite Thrissur FC controlling more possession (52%) and registering 14 shots, Malappuram’s solid defense and clinical finishing made the difference.
In the third match, Kannur FC pulled off a stunning 3–2 victory against Trivandrum FC on October 5 at the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram, in one of the most exciting clashes of the Super League Kerala 2025 so far.
The action continues with Calicut FC facing Thrissur FC on October 11 (Saturday) at the EMS Stadium, Kozhikode, followed by a thrilling clash between Malappuram FC and Kannur FC on October 12 (Sunday) at the Payyanad Stadium, Malappuram.
