After a successful season 12 of Pro kabaddi league ending in the month of October, the game of kabaddi is set to entertain its fans with the second season of Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL 2025 – 2026). With the original poster boy of Kabaddi, Rahul Chaudhary as the brand ambassador the league is set to start on 24thDecember, 2025 which will end at 10thJanuary,2026. All matches are set to be played in the Noida Indoor Stadium, Uttar Pradesh.

UPKL 2025 Teams
The inaugural season of UPKL, started with eight teams in which Lucknow Lions, the team which was led by “raid machine” Arjun Deshwal emerged victorious. However, this season, there has been addition of four new teams, which only leads to more competition and excitement for the fans. The auction of UPKL season 2 took place in the month of November,2025. The most expensive player of this season was Haryana Steelers’ raider Vinay Tevathia at a whooping price of rs 5.90 lakhs to newly added team of Aligarh Tigers. Another expensive players include Nitin Pawar,(Rs4.45L) to Mirzapur, Ashu Singh(rs4.35L) to Noida and Shubham Kumar (rs 3.30L) to Kanpur while Arjun Deshwal became the most expensive retained player at rs 3.10L with Lucknow Lions.
UPKL 2025-2026 MATCH SCHEDULE
The match schedule of the league is yet to be announced. It is expected that there will be 4 matches per day in league stages.Approximately 71 matches throughout the league.
