The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently announced the Indian squad for the Australia tour, which will begin on October 19. Following this, the Australian Board also announced the Australia squad for India series on Tuesday. Mitchell Marsh will be captaining Australia in this series due to regular captain Pat Cummins not being fully fit. This time around, some players returned to the Australian team, while others were dropped due to poor form. Matches between Australia and India have always been a treat to watch. Besides that, this series is also interesting because Indian star players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will take the field to play ODI cricket. They added for the first time after winning the Champions Trophy 2025 against New Zealand in March this year.
