The Chennai Esports Global Championship’s BGMI finals started on November 14, 2025, inside the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. Run by Skyesports, working alongside the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, the tournament brings together 16 elite mobile gaming squads battling for ₹50 lakh.
This time, the tournament introduces a new rule named Smash Rule (only for day three), where if the team reaches the target point and then wins the chicken dinner, they will automatically become the winner of the tournament.
The team Soul scored 162 points in 16 Grand Finals matches, earning four Chicken Dinners and 107 eliminations. Soul took home a cash award of Rs. 21 lakh. Furthermore, their leader, Nakul, received the Best IGL award. True Rippers also had an outstanding performance, finishing second in the event under Jelly’s leadership.
The squad earned 136 points over two Chicken Dinners and 88 eliminations. Their main player, Hydra, played admirably in the final and was named FMVP. In addition, the team finished second in the BMIC 2025. The club is scheduled to represent India in the PMGC 2025.
