The 2025 FIFA Arab Cup will be the 11th edition of the tournament that began back in 1963. The tournament is mostly played involving the national teams from Arab countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc from the confederations like Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The tournament was originally organised by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) but from the previous edition, it is now played under FIFA’s jurisdiction.

The FIFA Arab Cup 2025 start date has already been revealed by FIFA, football’s governing body. The 2025 FIFA Arab Cup will commence from December 1 and the final match will be played on December 18. Much like the 2021 edition, Qatar will once again host the tournament across 4 cities.

Format Explained
The Arab Cup 2025 will be played between a total of 16 teams from AFC and CAF. In the group stage, those teams would be divided into four groups of four teams each playing in a round-robin format. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from all four groups would qualify for the knockouts phase.
The knockout stage will consist of four quarter-finals, two semi-finals, a third-placed match and the final match on December 18.

The official Arab Cup 2025 edition draw was held on May 25 in Doha, Qatar. All the sixteen teams were placed in four different pots and were drawn into four groups of four teams each.
