IPL 2026 auction is around the corner, and several teams are expected to make major changes to their squads based on their IPL 2025 performances.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the defending champions, will try to resolve their long-standing problems in the middle order. They might look for a good batter to take Liam Livingstone’s place, and they could also look for someone else to take Devdutt Padikkal’s place. They will try to win the IPL title again and give fans another reason to celebrate.
Punjab Kings will work on making their core stronger and maybe even rebuilding their lineup around a strong finisher and leader like Glenn Maxwell. On the other hand, teams like CSK and KKR might have to completely change their lineups after not playing well consistently.
The Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Gujarat Titans only need to add one or two key players to their squads to make them more balanced. They already have strong cores.
