Nepal Premier League 2025 Start Date
The huge success of the 2024 edition has the fans excited for the new season. Many fans are already wondering about the NPL 2025 start date. The CAN has confirmed that the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025 season will be played starting from November 17. The final match of the tournament will be played on 13 December. So mark your calendars.

The 2025 Nepal Premier League season is set to feature all the 8 teams from last season, including the defending champions Janakpur Bolts, Kathmandu Gorkhas, Biratnagar Kings etc. The NPL 2025 full list of teams is given below:

NPL 2025 Auction
The NPL 2025 auction was held on August 9 where a total of 37 players were sold to the eight franchises. A total of four players became the most expensive buy in the NPL auction 2025, they are Mohammad Adil Alam, Arjun Saud, Pawan Sarraf and Dev Khanal, who were all bought for Nepali Rupee 15 Lakh, approximately 9.40 Lakh INR (Around $11,000). The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has set a cap of a maximum of 4 overseas players per team. The Foreign players in NPL 2025 were not auctioned. Overseas players instead can be signed outside of the auction. A maximum of 32 overseas can be signed.
