PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Day 1 Review

The PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Stage is happening from November 24 to 26, 2025, at Imperial World Samrong in Samut Prakan, Thailand. Sixteen of the best teams from regional qualifiers are going to battle it out over three days. There will be 18 matches in total, with six matches each day.

The top 7 teams from the Gauntlet Stage will head straight to the PMGC 2025 Grand Finals. The other 9 teams will go on to the Group Stage. This stage will test how well the teams can adapt. So every match counts if they want to move forward.

PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Day 1 Review

Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship with a thrilling and high-octane Rondo Match, where Virtus.pro achieves the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner of the PMGC 2025. They get a total of 21 points, chicken dinner with 11 finish and 10 placement points. But after that, their performance faced a slight decline, and at the end of the day, they finished in sixth position with 39 total points. 

On the other hand, the Indian team, Orangutan, play consistently and positions itself at the top 4-5-6 in every match and finished in the fourth position at the end of day one of the Gauntlet stage with 43 points, with 23 finishes and 20 placement points.

Day 1 did not go as expected for some of the teams, especially for Alpha Gaming and DRX. Alpha Gaming is standing at the bottom of the points table with only 12 points and Battlegrounds Mobile International Cup winner DRX finished only in 13th position with only 19 points. 

Team ThunderTalk Gaming wins two WWCD and stands at the top of the points table with 77 points, followed by Madbulls, who achieved 67, and R8, who got 57 points and stand in second and third spots of the PMGC 2025 Gauntlet Day 1. 

Tomorrow will be a new day with new challenges to perform better and some teams will gives their best to climb the points tabe.
