NXT has championship matchups announced for Gold Rush, featuring Joe Hendry selecting a partner to compete for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship.
The episode concluded with Ethan Page and Chelsea Green having a “Muy Grande Championship Celebration” after winning the Mixed Tag Team Championships from La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana this past weekend in Mexico.
The new champions arrived with Alba Fyre inside the ring, holding a large cake and surrounded by Canadian flags, claiming they were despised in the locker room because of their origins. It resulted in a tease of Joe Hendry emerging, giving the impression that he was within the cake, but he exited from the rear.

NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame and Lola Vice versus Fatal Influence
Jacy Jayne exacted revenge on NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley by assisting Fatal Influence in destabilising the trio of Paxley, Izzi Dame, and Lola Vice.

Josh Briggs against El Grande Americano
This match just drags long. The crowd’s actually rooting for Americano, which tells you how much they dislike Briggs. Briggs gets taken down with an arm drag into an arm lock. While Americano’s up on the top rope, he spots Jasper Troy in the crowd holding his chain.
What a moment! 🙌
