After a great year where WWE started two new big events and brought back some old ones, they finished with Survivor Series 2025 WarGames.
The 39th Survivor Series happened on November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. This year was the fourth time in a row they had a WarGames match.
Besides the two main WarGames matches for the men and women, the show had two title fights. Also, John Cena, who has won 17 world championships, wrestled in his last big WWE event. Here’s what went down this Saturday, with a full recap, top moments, results, grades, and who won at WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025.

Women’s WarGames Match
Flair and Ripley put silence to the voices that doubted their coexistence ability on Saturday night when The Queen rescued The Eradicator from Asuka’s blinding mist and initiated a comeback for her team.
Their teammates also had a great night as Flair, Ripley and the rest of the team survived a dominant performance of the heels, took advantage of the opening led by The Empress of Tomorrow and finished off Lynch in the final moments of the match.
After a hard right from Bliss and a Riptide from Mami, The Man was really reeling and Lee saw the chance to apply the Black Widow and forced a tapout for the victory.
Result: Ripley, Sky, Flair, Bliss, and Lee defeated Lynch, Legend, Jax, Asuka, and Sane
John Cena (c) vs Dominik Mysterio
In the show’s second match, John Cena had a rematch with Dominik Mysterio to defend his Intercontinental title. Dominik brought Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez with him, and they kept interfering.
Dirty Dom pretended to be hurt at ringside while Raquel hit Cena with the Tahana bomb, followed by Perez with the Pop Rox. As the medical team checked on Dominik, he jumped back into the ring and hit the 619 and a frog splash. But the ref, annoyed by the cheating, wouldn’t count and kicked Perez and Raquel out.
This let Cena recover until Finn Balor and JD McDonagh showed up to help Dominik. Cena blocked both Balor and McDonagh, lifting them for a double AA.
Dominik tried to take advantage, grabbing the title, but Cena dodged and hit another AA. However, the ref had been accidentally knocked out earlier by Cena when Mysterio ducked a tackle. Suddenly, Liv Morgan returned and slapped Dominik. Then, Morgan jumped into Cena’s arms before hitting him with a low blow. Dominik followed with a 619, and Morgan ended things by hitting Cena with the title.

Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Nikki Bella
La Primera defeated her Hall of Fame opponent Saturday night in San Diego, fought off a bad knee, and successfully defended her Women’s World Championship.
Bella attacked Vaquer right away, beating her down and trying to get an early advantage. The champion initially countered the veteran, but an injured leg and a Bella Buster on the floor swung the match in the heel’s favor.
Vaquer fought from beneath, delivering two Devil’s Kisses and finishing with a corkscrew moonsault for the pinfall victory.
The stages get bigger and the competition gets fiercer, but @Steph_Vaquer continues to prove that she's truly La Primera…And still Women's World Champion. #SurvivorSeries https://t.co/Sjl4T87OI9

Result: Vaquer beat Bella and retained her championship.
Men’s WarGames match
The men’s WarGames match finished off the last big show of 2025. CM Punk and Bron Breakker started things off. Breakker’s team had won earlier, so they had the upper hand. Drew McIntyre was next to come out, then Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Jimmy Uso, Bronson Reed, Jey Uso, and Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns was the last one to show up, and Lesnar couldn’t wait to get his hands on him as he got into the cage.
Reigns started strong with three Superman punches, but Lesnar blocked the fourth and hit Reigns with an F5 onto the announce table. Then, he dragged Reigns into the cage just as the bell rang, and the WarGames match officially began. Heyman gave Logan some brass knuckles, and he got in a few shots before Reigns speared him hard and took the knuckles.

The good guys tried to rally, and Punk hit Lesnar with a GTS. But suddenly, a masked guy climbed into the cage, kicked Punk in the face, stomped him, and then left. Breakker then speared Punk to win the match for his team.
Winner: The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed), Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre & Brock Lesnar
