Harmanpreet Kaur

India and Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur is going to be one of the retained players for the franchise. She has been a part of the franchise since the WPL’s inaugural season and won two trophies as captain.

Nat Sciver-Brunt

The England cricketer Nat Sciver-Brunt had an outrageous season in the WPL 2025 as she scored 523 runs, almost 200 runs more than the 2nd top scorer of the tournament. She has consistently chipped-in with consistent numbers for MI Women in WPL.

Hayley Matthews

Hayley Matthews delivered a solid all-rounder performance for the MI Women in 2025 edition. Not only did she score 307 runs at a strike rate of 122.80, but was also the side’s joint-top highest wicket-taker with 18 wickets.

Amanjot Kaur

The Indian all-rounder Amanjot Kaur might be someone the franchise might want to keep hold of to strengthen their Indian core. Kaur scored 128 runs and took 5 wickets in WPL 2025. She is a regular for the Indian team and at 25, there is still a lot of room for growth. However, she is not an assured retention option.

Shafali Verma

Indian opening batter Shafali Verma is known as India’s most aggressive T20 batter in women’s cricket, so there is definitely no way that she is not in DC’s WPL 2026 Retained Players List. She scored 304 runs in WPL 2025 at a strike rate of 152.76.

Meg Lanning

The Australian veteran batter Meg Lanning is going to be another solid WPL retention 2026 option for the DC Women team. She is the side’s captain and scored 276 runs in 9 innings in the 2025 season. Although they lost the final, her achievements cannot be overlooked.

Jess Jonassen

The Australian spin bowler Jess Jonassen delivered an all-rounder’s performance in the WPL 2025. She took 13 wickets with the ball and also scored 150 runs at a strike rate of 145.63. In India where spin bowlers dominate, Jonassen will be in huge demand and DC won’t want to lose their asset.

Jemimah Rodriguez

Jemimah Rodriguez is a crucial part of the Delhi Capitals Women’s team’s Indian core and the franchise won’t want to lose a face of the franchise. She has also contributed well for the side, scoring 146 runs in the 2025 edition and at 25, she has a long future ahead, and is also being looked at as a future captain of the team.

WPL 2026 Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (RCB Women) Retained Players List

RCB retention list

  1. Smriti Mandhana (INR 3.50 crore)
  2. Richa Ghosh (INR 2.75 crore)
  3. Ellyse Perry (INR 2 crore)
  4. Shreyanka Patil (60 lakh)

Purse for WPL 2026 mega auction: INR 6.15 crore

Right To Match: 1

Smriti Mandhana

Before the WPL 2026 Mega Auction, RCB Women will definitely want to hold on to their captain and star Indian batter Smriti Mandhana. After leading the side to championship in 2024, they failed to qualify for the playoffs this term, but Smriti has displayed great leadership skills and also scored 197 runs in WPL 2025.

Ellyse Perry

Everyone would be surprised when on WPL retention 2026 date November 5 if Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry’s name is not included in RCB Women Retained Players List. She has been the franchise’s best player over the three seasons and in 2025, she scored 372 runs and took 3 wickets as she didn’t bowl much. Despite being 34, she is still an elite player.

Richa Ghosh

For RCB Women, Richa Ghosh has been fantastic. The wicketkeeper batter is known for her aggressive style of play and adding those finishing touches. Hailing from Siliguri, she has been their biggest find for RCB Women in WPL. In the 2025 edition, she scored 230 runs at a strike rate of 175.57. And at 22, she can be a long-term option for RCB, and probably a captain option as well.

Beth Mooney

The Australian batter Beth Mooney added assurance in the Gujarat Giants Women’s batting line-up as she scored 237 runs, complementing her captain. She has been a consistent performer for the Giants in the WPL for the last two seasons. So we expect her to continue with the franchise.
